Kevyn Aucoin The Sensual Skin Enhancer

Hey, guys! I wanted to talk about the Kevyn Aucoin SSE. This is a great multitasking product. You can use it for spot concealing, all over foundation, highlighting, and you can mix it into your moisturizer. The SSE has honey and jojoba oil in it. It has a really dewy finish, so it will never look dry or cakey! It has a really nice, silky texture.  If you have combo-oily skin, you can set it with a powder so it's not as dewy on your skin. It's medium to full coverage. It covers acne, scars, dark circles, and redness. This product is $48.00, but it's so worth it in my opinion! They have 16 shades to choose from, so you will definitely be able to find the right color for your skin tone.

PROS:
  • Great coverage
  • Moisturizing
  • Long lasting on the skin
  • You only need a little bit per application, so the product lasts a long time
  • 16 shades to choose from
  • Blends out easily

CONS:
  • Higher price

  1. Wow, $48? That seems like a lot of money for foundation!! I don't know, maybe I'm just a cheapskate lol. I have two kids still in diapers so for me it's like, hm i could buy a single makeup product or a box of diapers? I'd have to pick the diapers lol. I don't have a lot of money for things like expensive makeup though, so maybe that's just me :)

    1. Hi, I agree it's one of those products that's a once in awhile splurge. I thought the product was worthwhile for its intended purpose and wanted to review it for those interested. That's also why I highlighted the price in the cons list. :) I'll be reviewing more budget friendly products as well.

    2. I think my comment applies more here Lisa. But of course YOU did buy it, so I guess you can comment on why. We all know that Kailyn didn't and that you buy everything for her.

  2. Good job on changing the font. It makes things so much easier to read. As another tip, maybe change the color of the background of your blog to something a little neutral. The shades of pink and the deeper pink font is a lot for the eye/reader to handle. You should be able to adjust the colors in your blog settings.

    1. Thanks for the tips...! I do wanna keep a pink theme if possible, but I'll make some adjustments.

    2. A lighter pink would be nice. Or you could go for a theme with pink accents. A pretty blog is good, but it's also really important to make it readable and clean. Your header is nice with the pink shades, and the main entry background is nice. When reviewing products you could find cute little pink icons (maybe bows) to use to rate an item. Like 5 bows (rather than 5 stars)

  3. Finally gave up on the blog, eh?

You and your once a month hubby are disgusting pieces of shit. Both of you should be in prison.
